Due to the spread of the coronavirus, Ahrweiler BC is postponing its anniversary celebration "100 Years Ahrweiler BC" at the Ahrweiler Civic Center, originally planned for May 8, to an indefinite date.
"We, the board, have been giving the organization of the event, which is intended to be the highlight of the year, intensive consideration in recent days and have come to the conclusion that a postponement is currently unavoidable. We did not make this decision lightly, but our responsibility and duty of care towards our guests left no other option," says ABC President Torsten Schweigert.
As the extent of the epidemic and further restrictions are currently unforeseeable, the celebratory event has been postponed until further notice. Tickets remain valid. A new date will be announced well in advance through the local press and on our social media channels.
