The ABC defense managed to force the offensively oriented opponent into long shots at the beginning of the game through defensive behavior recently practiced in training, but all of them missed their target or were saved by goalkeeper Leo Argendorf. Towards the opponent's goal, the young ABC players failed to achieve a countable success with their own pinpoint attacks.
A typical cup match developed from the start of the second half. "We tried not to fall into a kick and rush game, but to recognize the right moments for a targeted offensive game," said Oebel-Noack.
