The B II juniors secured their third win in four Kreisklasse matches on Saturday. With a 1-0 (0-0) victory over SC Bad Bodendorf, Saskia Oebel-Noack and Andre Noack's team solidified their lead in the standings with a total of ten points, now sitting six points ahead of third place. The scorer of the golden goal was Nick Rademacher. For the winter signing from last season, it was also his first goal in the ABC jersey.
Patience was required on the artificial turf in Altendorf Ersdorf on Saturday. While the B II team was defensively as solid as usual – the team has only conceded one goal so far – they struggled significantly in their offensive play. This was partly due to the passionately defending visitors, and partly because the ABC youth failed to capitalize on numerous offensive opportunities cleanly. Ultimately, it was Nick Rademacher's premier goal that secured a deserved victory in the end. After the autumn break, the team will start the second half of the season with a match against the also undefeated SGL Heimersheim.
