Home game against the last-place team

The 3rd team of Ahrweiler BC expects bottom-placed SV Kripp II on Friday evening for the crisis summit. The match kicks off at 8:00 PM in Remagen.

Unfortunately, the city reserve team has strayed from their successful path at the start of the season and now looks back on four games without a win, including the district cup. This has temporarily taken them out of contention for the promotion spots 1 and 2. Newly promoted Kripp II has been looking at the league from the bottom of the table since the last matchday. The team has only managed to earn three points with an away win in Leimersdorf and has been waiting for three games to score a goal.

"We absolutely have to get back on track. Even though the current situation is difficult, a win against Kripp II is a must," says ABC III coach Mohamed Abou-Ayda, because the coach did not see his protégés' performance as badly as the results suggest: "We have created better scoring chances recently, as in previous games. Furthermore, in recent weeks, we have been missing four or five regular players due to illness, injury, and work."
