In the test match against host club C-League team SV Rot-Weiß Merl II, the 3rd team of Ahrweiler BC lost 4-1 (0-1) on Sunday afternoon. New player-coach Besmir Bajcinca was satisfied with his team's performance in the first test match: "That was a good first half, before our energy waned in the second half after only two training sessions. We had several good opportunities to score more goals before they equalized," said Bajcinca. Bleron Leku (15') scored the opening goal for the Kreisliga C sixth-place team, assisted by Fidai Misini.
This coming Sunday, the second match of the winter preparation will take place in an away game against SC Muffendorf (13th place, KL C Mittelrhein).
