The current cold weather did not stop at the Westum Experience Park of course. After a long absence from the outdoors, the Ahrweiler BC’s F-Juniors and the SG Westum IV’s older players took part in their first test match of the new year there. Despite the cold, the “Boys in Red” of ABC coach Darijo Matosevic and the protégés of his Westumer mentor Thomas Ockenfels put on a fast-paced game, in which the boys on both sides showed how much they are passionate about football and what the game means to them with the round vinyl.
