The B II juniors remain undefeated in their winter preparations. Away against the district league team JSG Vulkaneifel Kottenheim, Moritz Feigk's team secured a 2-1 (0-1) victory on Saturday. In the performance comparison between the district league and the performance class, Etienne Koonen (43') and Nelson Kleiss (64') were successful, after the hosts had already taken a narrow 1-0 (10') halftime lead from a penalty.
Feigk was very pleased with the improved performance of his players in the second half but cautioned with regard to the tough assignments in the upcoming league games: "We have to be wide awake from the start. We should avoid having to chase an early deficit as much as possible in the future."
The next challenge awaits next Sunday, when the B II team will compete in another friendly match in Bad Breisig (kick-off 1:00 PM) against the local joint-team.
