The D III juniors coached by Alexander Blauhut and Goran Strk were able to secure their third victory in the last four games on Saturday in the district league and, after the conclusion of the penultimate matchday, have the chance to finish the season in second place. Currently, the district junior team is in third place in the standings, trailing JSG Unterahr Bad Bodendorf II by three points.
From the first minute of the game, the action mostly shifted to the side of the visitors, who had already managed to win the first leg 2-1. In total, the young players created many scoring chances, of which Benjamin Feyrer (12’) and Sebastian Laudani (19’) were able to use two to secure a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime. The latter scored with a header after a well-timed cross from Luc Wiemer.
The game’s course with an acting ABC nine should not change in the second half either. Ibrahim Othman (45’) and Leon Alvaro (57’) scored the goals that put the score at 4-0 at the end of the first half.
On Tuesday, the current season will see the first points of the league being decided. In Bad Breisig, it is against the local youth team.
