With a very convincing performance on Tuesday evening, the D III juniors secured second place in the Kreisklasse. The team of Alexander Blauhut and Goran Strk won 6-0 (3-0) against the bottom-placed JSG Bad Breisig on the final matchday, the 10th of the Kreisklasse.
After the first shaky minutes of play, ABC took control of the game on the artificial turf of Breisig's Rheintalstadion. The hosts' youth team had very few scoring opportunities throughout the entire 60 minutes of play and was mostly busy with defensive work. Whether through the wings or down the middle, the young ABC players frequently got in front of the opponent's goal and were rewarded before halftime with goals from Sebastian Laudani (14', 28') and Gabriel Alchanaa (29').
Even in the second half, it was the determined ABC junior team that controlled the game. Paul Dederich (38'), Dijedon Berbatovci (53'), and Labinot Gerguri (60') scored for the highest season victory and were rewarded with second place in the standings. For the coaches Alexander Blauhut and Goran Strk, it was a logical outcome: "The boys deserved it. They've really done a fantastic job since the summer."
