The past season for the U16 team can certainly be considered a sporting success. Although the relegated district league team narrowly missed out on winning the district championship and had to settle for second place in the performance league after a 0-1 loss in the final game against the favored SGL Heimersheim, our players proved their skills on the field.

Despite these adverse circumstances, we would like to emphasize that there was a reliable core of players who led the way and significantly contributed to us narrowly missing out on winning the district championship. Their dedication and commitment deserve recognition.
It should be particularly emphasized that some players have recommended themselves for the U17 team and will be launching an attack on promotion to the Rheinlandliga next season. This shows that our youth department is producing talent and is continuing on the right track.
We would like to thank the team officials, the parents, and especially the players for giving their best athletically despite the less than optimal conditions. Your support was essential and contributed to the positive performances.
