Last weekend, our youngest F-Juniors talents, born in 2016, kicked off their first match days with full enthusiasm. After a great time with the Bambini last year, they ventured into the exciting world of football, and they did it in scorching heat with temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius!
The match days in Bad Neuenahr and Niederzissen emphasized the fun of the game, and the young aspiring footballers showed that they can not only score goals but also carry team spirit and joy for football in their hearts. The F-Juniors play "Funino" – a playful training method that focuses on fun and technique.
Our coaches, Gerrit Kanowski and Justus Balmer, were impressed by the performance of their protégés. They not only perfectly implemented the training content but also showed how much joy they have playing Funino. This new game format delights not only our young players but also the parents and spectators on the sidelines.
Funino – What is that?
Funino is an innovative form of football that focuses on fun and individual player development. It promotes technique, understanding of the sport, and above all, team spirit. The small fields and flexible rules make Funino a perfect way to play for young footballers. This form of play is mandatory for F-Juniors.
