4-0 against SGL Heimersheim
The U12 team of Ahrweiler BC showed a good performance on Wednesday evening and won their away match in the Kreisklasse against SGL Heimersheim 4-0 (2-0). The league leaders now go into the autumn break with their heads held high.
The player of the evening was undoubtedly Leo Ensafi, who shone as the most outstanding player not only because of his two goals (23', 35'). For the 2-0 goal, he benefited from a short corner taken by Lasse Claesgens, and for the 3-0 goal, he converted a precise pass from Orestis Kasa. The ABC youth team showed superiority throughout the entire match and took a 1-0 lead as early as the 16th minute through Olsi Zogaj, following buildup play from Lasse Claesgens. Benjamin Faltin scored the final goal with an impressive long-range shot in the 45th minute to make it 4-0.
The U12 team of Ahrweiler BC faces exciting duels in the three-way race for the top two spots in the standings, which grant qualification for the performance league after the autumn season concludes. After the fall break, two direct encounters await them against the third-placed team, Grafschafter JSG, on Tuesday, October 31, and against the current second-placed team, JSG Bad Breisig, on Friday, November 3.
We wish the talented U12 boys and their supportive parents a restful autumn break and a well-deserved little break.
