Yesterday, our U17 showed a good and focused performance on matchday 25 of the Bezirksliga Mitte, securing a clear 1:9 (0:5) away win against the bottom-placed team, FC Metternich II! 🚀⚽
Coach Karl-Heinz Classen's team, which had already secured their place in the league the previous matchday with a 6-3 victory against JSG Moseltal, climbed to seventh place in the standings with this dominant win and can now look back on a strong finish to the season with 13 points from the last six games. 👏🔥
Early in the game, our ABC juniors set out on the path to a clear victory. Max Matschall (2') and Jakob Forster (3') scored shortly after kickoff. Cristiano Schulze (14'), an own goal (17'), and William Gläsmann secured a comfortable 5-0 lead by halftime. 🌟👏
Even the subsequent goal in the 54th minute couldn't unsettle the Classen XI. Another own goal (69') and two penalty goals from Jakob Götz (71') and Jon Recica (73') made the final score of 1:9 perfect. 💪⚽
