HOME DEFEAT FOR OUR U14 – TAKE THE POSITIVES AND KEEP GOING 💪

On the fourth matchday of the Bezirksliga Mitte, our U14 suffered a clear 0-4 defeat against the visitors from Mülheim-Kärlich II. After two wins in a row, this game unfortunately didn't go according to plan, but despite the bitter home defeat, the boys also showed some positive approaches. 💪⚽

The game started as poorly as could be imagined: the visitors took the lead after just three minutes, and the second goal against them followed after 14 minutes. 😬 However, the team of Vahidin Cahtarević and Senad Sukić didn't let their heads drop and impressed with good short passing and impressive combinations at times. 🌟 Despite everything, the longed-for goal to make it a closer match just wouldn't come.

Another goal conceded in the 17th minute threw the team off their rhythm, and Mülheim-Kärlich confidently played out the match. The Rhineland team put the final touch on the game after 55 minutes with their fourth goal. 😔

Nevertheless, our U14 remains on course: With six points from four games, the boys are currently in a solid sixth place. 🔥 This coming weekend, they face VfR Koblenz as favorites, a team that has yet to earn any points. The coaches are optimistic and want to build on the positive momentum to give their all in the upcoming games! 💥👊
