On Friday evening, our U11 showed why they are so confidently defending their top spot in the fall league. Against SG Westum, who are a bit further down the table, it was clear from the start: We want to win here!
The first half was an open back-and-forth and ended with a surprising result. Both teams showed goal-scoring threat, but in the end, it was the visitors who went into the break with a 2-1 lead. Our U11 had more possession, while SG Westum was more efficient in front of goal.
In the second half, we really turned it up! With great combinations and a lot of passion, we scored a total of 11 goals – that's a clear statement. Goal scorers: Yorik Welsch (2), Felix Sahl (2), Mehras Moradi (2), Marek Schunk (2), Liam Wenigmann, Moritz Winnen.
A huge compliment to our coaches Andre, Ralf, and Darijo! Under your guidance, our boys are developing wonderfully. And to our players: Keep up the great work! You are the future of our club!
