Even on the 5th matchday of the Bezirksliga, the U17 continues its impressive winning streak. 💥 Confident but with the necessary respect for the derby, the team coached by Joe Yankey, Fabian Lorca, Karl-Heinz Classen, and Jürgen Deutsch triumphed with a convincing 4-1 (3-1) victory against eleventh-placed SGL Heimersheim. 👏⚽
The expectations for a hard-fought derby proved true right from the start: In the 12th minute, the hosts managed to score the 1-0 goal with one of their rare offensive plays through Jari Gronwald. 😮 For the young ABC players, this meant a brief moment of shock, but then it was time to shake it off and fight back. 💪🔥
What followed was a fantastic end to the first half: Captain Jakob Forster took responsibility and converted a penalty kick in the 29th minute to make it 1-1. 🎯 Shortly thereafter, Gulio Cristofalo, who once played for SGL himself, struck ice-cold and capitalized on a rebound to make it 1-2 (33'). ⚡ In first-half stoppage time, David Lorca scored the 1-3 with a spectacular goal – the perfect response. 🥳💥
The second half started just as fast: just three minutes after the restart, the favorite scored again. A precise cross from wing-back Mathis Schmidgen was converted by Alexander Braun for the final 4-1! 🎯 That was already the ABC attacker's sixth goal of the season! 🙌
From then on, the U17 confidently controlled the game and gave the opponent hardly any chances. 🛡️ Another deserved victory was celebrated. 🎉 The next matchday brings another exciting derby against JSG Remagen – and again on Friday evening under floodlights! 🌟🔥
