This week, our U10 and U11 teams progressed to the 3rd round of the district cup! André Wenigmann, Darijo Matosevic, and Ralf Lauterbach's U11 celebrated a clear 15:1 victory against JSG Remagen, easily securing their advancement. The U10, however, had to say goodbye to the competition after a 3:8 loss against JSG Nickenich III. But there was no sign of frustration – U10 coach Dennis Preußner remained unbothered: "Nickenich was a strong opponent with considerable quality in front of goal. Some of our players lacked a bit of concentration, but it's not a disaster."
Darijo Matosevic particularly praised the U11's "great teamwork." Almost all the boys played in new positions for them and did a super job!
