With an impressive offensive performance, the U11 team of Ahrweiler BC convincingly defeated SV Alzheim on Friday, celebrating a clear 7-2 away victory.
The first half began with both teams feeling each other out. Meras Moradi, however, gave our Ahrweiler BC the lead, but the hosts were able to equalize quickly. Shortly before halftime, Floren Pupa broke through the opponent's defense with an energetic dribble and precisely slotted the ball into the lower corner for an important 2-1 lead for ABC.
After the halftime break, Ahrweiler really kicked into high gear and consistently exploited the available space. With quick passing and an intensified offensive focus, the team put the opponent under pressure and scored several goals in a short period. Yorik Welsch, Liam Wenigmann, Davis Matosevic, Salomon Badagbon, and Paul Schumann increased the score to 7-1 with impressive goals. Shortly before the final whistle, SV Alzheim managed to score a second goal, making the final score 2-7.
Particularly noteworthy is Moritz Winnen, who delivered a strong performance both on the wing and in the center, helping to shape the course of the game.
With this dominant victory behind them, they head into a tough away game next week against the leaders of the E-Junior Performance League, SG 99 Andernach.
