U11 Starts Successfully in District Cup
U11 I SGL Heimersheim II vs Ahrweiler BC I 1:18 (1:8)
Early Tuesday evening, our U11 team played away against SGL Heimersheim II in the first round of the district cup. After a brief feeling-out period, the ABC kids took command and took an early lead. By halftime, the team had built a significant cushion without losing sight of teamwork. In the second half, the team remained focused, tried out different positions, and maintained the pressure. Especially pleasing: Despite the clear result, the children played fairly and with great team spirit. Great credit goes to the hosts, who never gave up and fought bravely until the final whistle. The end result was an 18-1 victory, which bodes well for the coming rounds.

U11 II advances to the next cup round
U11 II I JSG Bad Breisig II vs Ahrweiler BC I 2:11 (2:5)
On Tuesday evening, our U11 II team competed in the first round of the district cup against JSG Bad Breisig II. The hosts got off to a bold start and kept the game open in the first half. At halftime, the team coached by Victoria Einert and Joe Yankey led 5-2. After the break, however, the ABC juniors really got into their stride. With great enjoyment of the game, good combinations, and a lot of effort, the girls and boys achieved a clear 11-2 victory. Despite the clear result, credit must be given to the Bad Breisig team, who never gave up and tried their best until the end. Our U11 II team has thus deservedly advanced to the next round of the competition.
