Wednesday evening, floodlights, cup game in Bad Bodendorf – the U13 team of Ahrweiler BC experienced a special football evening. From the very beginning, the boys showed enthusiasm, pace and clean passing. The first few minutes made it clear: this is where the team wants to make a clear statement. Attack after attack was executed precisely, the chances were used cold-bloodedly. In the end, a convincing 0:9 victory over JSG Unterahr Sinzig was achieved.
Particularly noteworthy: Captain Emil “Radio” Lorenz, who tirelessly motivated his team and repeatedly pushed them forward. The coaching staff was also highly satisfied after the final whistle: “Dynamic, dominant and yet fair – that’s exactly how we envision a cup game.”
The performance was rewarded not only with a high score, but also with a Thursday without training. On Saturday, the action continues in Plaidt – the kick-off is at 14:00 at the Apollinaris Stadium.
The goals were scored by Yasin El Toufaili (4), Marek Schunk (2), Finn Mädel and Valentin Bachmann.
