In brilliant, sunny weather, the Bambini of the 2019 year group were in action at the weekend at the Grafschafter SV Bambini meet in Vettelhoven. Our youngest played with two teams on the well-maintained grounds and showed how much fun football can be even at an early age. The children were accompanied by assistant coaches Bernhard Staffeldt and Andreas Steffes, who stood in for head coach Michael Lorca, who was absent due to vacation.
As is usual in this age group, the focus is not on results, but on movement, team spirit, and the joy of playing. The five and six-year-olds enthusiastically chased the ball, practiced playing together, and gained valuable experience interacting with opponents and teammates. Parents, children, and supervisors shared a successful day of fun, which once again showed: Bambini soccer is all about laughter, learning, and passion.
