Where "top game" is written on it, there isn't always excitement until the last minute. On Saturday, the U15 II team of Ahrweiler BC, as league leaders, faced JSG Nickenich, who were in third place. However, there was little to see of a duel on equal footing. Just as they had since the start of the season, the team led by head coach Goran Strk dominated the match almost at will. Having already entered the game with five wins and an impressive goal difference of 51:3, the team from the spa town continued their successful run and won convincingly 6-0 (4-0).
"We're looking forward to the performance league when the team is really challenged," explained assistant coach Alexander Blauhut regarding the league starting in the spring. The top two teams from the current divisions will qualify there.
The goals for ABC were scored by: Leon Alvaro, Marc Wachsmuth, Olis Trshani (3), and Valentin Krastev.
