When the U23 district league match against second-placed FV Rübenach kicks off this coming Saturday at 5:00 PM, it will be a farewell to their home crowd for the Rheinlandliga reserve team from the Ahr valley. One week later, on the final matchday of the season, the team will play an away game against SV Untermosel Kobern, where, unfortunately, the team will also have to say goodbye to the district league after just one season.
A relegation, the reasons for which are complex. Nevertheless, the team would be happy on Saturday with a fitting farewell by a large turnout of supporters.
