Ahrweiler BC is strengthening for the upcoming season in the Rheinlandliga and presenting a true blockbuster transfer: Tim Schirmer will be tearing up the left flank for the district capital club starting in the 2025/2026 season.
The 22-year-old Schirmer is moving from Mittelrhein-Liga club SC Rheinbach to Ahrweiler and, despite his young age, brings a resume that commands respect. 28 appearances for Rheinbach in the past season, and before that 22 games in the Mittelrheinliga for Bonner SC, and even three appearances in the 3. Liga for Viktoria Köln – the left-footed player is ready to take the next step.
Jonny Susa, sports director of ABC, is enthusiastic:
"I contacted Tim directly when I heard he wanted to make a change. For us, this is an absolute blockbuster transfer because I'm convinced he can play a key role in our team as a left-back."
