The automotive expert Andre Wenigmann, based in the district town, is actively involved in supporting the youth department of Ahrweiler BC. In addition to his role as a coach for the E-juniors, he is now also supporting the club as a sponsor.
"It is important to me to support the good youth work of Ahrweiler BC in this way as well," explains Wenigmann, who is primarily responsible for an E-Juniors team in both the past and upcoming seasons.
A major problem from last season, the lack of seating in the small-field area, is now a thing of the past thanks to Wenigmann. He donated two foldable benches with six seats each, as well as ten water bottles including bottle carriers, to two of the E-junior teams.
"It's great that Andre supports us with a strong club identification as an active coach and sponsor. On behalf of Ahrweiler BC, I would like to thank him very much for his commitment," said youth director Gerd Treffer, expressing his appreciation for the engagement.
