The U19 team of Ahrweiler BC seems to be developing into a welcome guest on away games 🚌. After their recent 1-5 defeat at SG Andernach, the protégés of Timo Uhlendahl and Daniel Debus had to accept another defeat on the 7th matchday of the A-Junioren-Rheinlandliga – this time a clear 3-7 loss at TuS Mosella Schweich ⚽️.
The hope of taking points against the eleventh-placed team as fifth in the table had already faded in the early stages of the match ⏱️. After just 17 minutes, the young talents from the Ahr Valley were already trailing 0:3. The goals for the U19 were scored by Elias Holzem for 1:3 (20') and Veljko Pörös (40') for 2:4. It was Holzem again who scored to make it 3:7 (73') for the final score 🎯.
In almost all game statistics, the oldest youth team from the district town was consistently the runner-up 📊. Now, they need to process this setback as well as they did after the loss against SG Andernach 🧠, and show a different face in the upcoming match. However, this will again be an away game – against JFV Wolfstein, who has two wins and one draw on their home turf so far 🏟️💥.
