++U13 BOYS: PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT IN THE 2ND HALF++

The U11 juniors lost their fourth game of the season on Friday away against SGL Heimersheim II with a score of 3:2 (2:0). Simon Grüninger's team, who was substituted due to illness by Moritz Feigk (assistant coach of the U15 juniors), could only show brief flashes of play against a good opponent in the first half. Heimersheim's 2:0 lead at halftime, achieved by a consistently offensive approach, was entirely deserved.

Various adjustments to the "new" on the sidelines led to the young ABC players delivering a convincing performance in the second 25 minutes. Noah Willmann and Qays Yousef, in particular, brought a breath of fresh air to the ABC offense on both flanks. After temporarily taking a 3-0 lead, Noah Willmann (photo, 40') and Olsi Zogaj (41') narrowed the score to 3-2 with a quick one-two punch. Despite scoring opportunities for both sides, no further goals were scored. At the end of a match between two convincing teams, the ABC youth had to accept a narrow defeat. The E III team currently has two wins and two losses, and will play their last match before the autumn break on Tuesday against JSG Remagen II.
