++E III after a good start with a defeat in the final points game++

After the U11 juniors inaugurated the newly built artificial turf pitch with their first win of the season last week, Simon Grüninger's boys had to accept a 2-4 (2-1) defeat in their final Kreisklasse match this time. The visiting team was the 3rd team of JSG Bad Breisig – currently second in the league.

The ABC juniors started very well and had more of the game than the guests from Quellenstadt. Fabio Lemling confirmed the hosts' good phase with his two goals (3', 13') to take an early 2-0 lead. After the combined team scored their goal in the 19th minute, they went into the break with a deserved 2-1 lead.

The lightning start by JSG, who equalized just three minutes after the restart, inspired the team in the blue jerseys. Although ABC remained dangerous with counter-attacks, Bad Breisig was now in control and added two more goals (26', 41'). In the end, a deserved victory for the seven players coached by Denni Fink. However, the young ABC players held their own for much of the game and once again showed a very decent performance. "The boys have learned," said Grüninger, whose season assessment was decidedly positive. The team finished in fifth place.
