On Wednesday evening, the mixed-age U11 II and the younger U10 kicked off the second half of the E-Junioren-Kreisklasse with an internal match. Attentive observers witnessed a game with two distinct halves. In the first half, the younger ABC players started like a house on fire, applying pressure, combining their way into a true playing frenzy, and building an 8-0 lead in the first 15 minutes. The teams switched sides with an 8-1 lead for the team coached by Dario Matosevic and Lukas Gronwald.
In the second period, the U11 II, coached by Andre Wenigmann and Ralf Lauterbach, held their own very well and played at eye level. In the end, the U10 won 11:5, not least due to their strong performance in the first half. On both sides, two junior kickers stood out as multiple goal scorers. For the U10, it was Felix Sahl, who scored six times, and for the U11 II, Yorik Welsch scored four times. This keeps both teams in first and third place, respectively.
