🏆 Ahrweiler BC U13 II also confirmed on the last matchday of the D-Junioren-Kreisklasse that the team had thoroughly deserved the championship and promotion to the Leistungsklasse with a 2-1 victory against Grafschafter JSG II. 🚀
The team led by Goran Strk and Alexander Blauhut, which had already clinched the championship before the game, put in a strong performance. In the first half, goalkeeper Luca Sommer kept his team in the game with some great saves, and the score remained scoreless at halftime.
In the second half, ABC U13 II focused on offensive substitutions and a change in their playing system. The reward came promptly: Valentin Krastev (40') opened the scoring after a beautiful assist, followed by a free-kick thunderbolt from Clemens Schäfer (41') to give them a 2-0 lead. The guests from Vettelhoven fought bravely and reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 53rd minute. The final phase remained exciting, but Luca Sommer and his counterpart showed good form. With a narrow 2-1 victory, Ahrweiler BC U13 II concludes the season with an impressive record of ten games, nine wins, and one draw.
