During a training session on Friday afternoon, Isabel Haunhorst from Ahrlotsen officially presented the F-Juniors of Ahrweiler BC with a new set of jerseys. "A great thing. We sincerely thank Ahrlotsen," said youth director Gerd Treffer, who has been in contact with the volunteers for a long time.
"The boys were very happy about the jerseys," said the head coach of the young ABC players, Darijo Matosevic.
The Ahrlotsen are volunteers who have been working in the Ahr Valley since immediately after the flood disaster and continue to do so today, providing support to those directly affected. Under the motto “#vereintdievereine,” the Ahrlotsen also dedicate their expertise, experience, and network to helping the many affected clubs and sports facilities along the Ahr.
