++U11 THROUGH TO THE FINAL – U10 SHOWS GREAT SPIRIT DESPITE HEAVY DEFEAT++

U11 vs. FC Sportfreunde Miesenheim 5:4 (2:1)

On Saturday afternoon, the U11s and the team from FC Sportfreunde Miesenheim engaged in an exciting, evenly matched contest. The boys, coached by Andre Wenigmann, Darijo Matosevic, and Ralf Lauterbach, struggled for the entire 50 minutes against a courageous opponent. However, in the end, it was Felix Sahl who scored the winning goal in the second-to-last minute, his second goal of the game, for a 5-4 victory. Noah Willmann (2) and Liam Wenigmann had scored previously. With a three-point lead over the second and third-place teams, the squad heads into the final two league games against the last-place teams. Qualification for the advanced round is now within reach.

U10 vs. SG 99 Andernach 2:10

The U10 team had to accept a clear defeat against the league leaders from Andernach. In the first half, things didn't go well in the 2-10 (0-7) game – Sarah and Dennis Preußner's boys played too timidly and let the guests dominate. After the half-time talk, there was a clear motivational boost, and the team was more compact defensively, fought in tackles, and scored two goals through Eris Zogaj. Nevertheless, Andernach's older age group was superior in all aspects. "Dennis and I are definitely proud of the fighting spirit and attitude in the second half, even though we were already down 7-0," said Sarah Preußner.

SG Landskrone Heimersheim vs. E VI (o.W.)

The ABC team went on the offensive from the start and put the visiting defense under considerable pressure.
