++WITH PLAYING SPIRIT AND TEAM SPIRIT: E IV IN spite of the age difference++

Our E IV, a pure F junior class that has also been successfully competing on the field for the E junior class since the summer, competed last weekend in Polch in the preliminary round of the hall district championship – and again against older opponents. For the first time under the leadership of their new coach Darijo Matosevic, who will be coaching the team together with the current coach Alem Porca from now on, the young talents made it directly to the second round of the tournament series.

With a mixture of wit, ambition, fighting spirit and above all a lot of team spirit, the young players overcame the physical disadvantage against the older opponents and won two victories and a draw from five games. That was enough to qualify as the fourth group team for the next round.

A crucial factor in this success was goalkeeper Felix Semper, who set the foundation for the successful tournament with a series of outstanding saves. His secure performance in goal gave the team the necessary stability and allowed it to hold its ground in crucial moments.

Once again, the E IV proved that despite their age difference, they are able to compete on equal terms with older teams. Now the boys are looking forward to the next round of the hall district championship – and perhaps to more surprises.
