On the fifth and final matchday of the first half of the season in the E-Junior District League, the Ahrweiler BC U11 team put in an impressive finish. With a decisive 15-1 (7-1) victory, the boys coached by André Wenigmann, Ralf Lauterbach, and Darijo Matosevic triumphed at FC Plaidt. They now head into the second half of the season as the undisputed league leaders with a perfect 15 points and a goal difference of 52-8. 💪🔥
The goal scorers for the city's youth team were: Felix Sahl (6), Mehras Moradi (2), Yorik Welsch (2), David Matosevic, Marek Schunk, Nelson Busch, Liam Wenigmann, and Moritz Winnen. 🎯⚽
Next weekend the league games are paused, but it's business as usual for the older E-juniors team. On Saturday, the boys will compete in a tournament in Herxheim, Bavaria. The team is particularly looking forward to arriving the day before without their parents and spending the night together far from home – a real adventure! 😎🎒🏨
