The U13 team of Ahrweiler BC finished in sixth place in the Rheinlandliga championship round, making them the highest-ranked youth team for Ahrweiler BC 🎉. On Saturday, the team narrowly lost their final league match 0-1 against SSV Heimbach-Weis 😔. This was actually unnecessary, as the squad managed by interim coach Bastian Küpper played a decent game ⚽, but couldn't find the back of the opponent's net 🚫. The hosts, however, were more successful, finishing a counter-attack shortly after the restart in the second half for the only goal of the day 🥅.
For the young footballers from the district town in the Ahr Valley, there were some highs ⬆️, but also a few lows ⬇️. All in all, however, one can look back on a demanding season with satisfaction 😊. The individual development and growing together as a team, overall, deserve positive final grades 🏅.
