++U14 EXCITING 2:2 DRAW AGAINST JSG STADTDÖRFER ALZHEIM ⚽️++

Our younger C-Juniors had to settle for a 2:2 (1:2) draw at home against JSG Stadtdörfer Alzheim in the 8th matchday of the Bezirksliga on Saturday. The team managed by Senad Sukic and Vahidin "Caki" Cahtarevic is currently in a good 5th place in the standings. ⚽️

From the start, the U14 demonstrated their usual combination play, just as they have throughout the season, and took the lead after just five minutes through Raphael Saftig. His shot from the right edge of the penalty area made it 1-0. However, the visitors, who arrived as ninth in the table, repeatedly created dangerous moments with quick counter-attacks. Lukas Marzi turned the game around with a brace (25', 30') in favor of JSG Stadtdörfer Alzheim, who went into halftime with a 1-2 lead. 🔄

In the second half of the match, the ABC youth team clearly dominated. The guests were only rarely able to mount counter-attacks. Joel Pullera was unlucky: a long-range shot hit the crossbar, and a header also narrowly missed the target. It took a foul in the penalty area on the offensively strong right-back Endri Gashi to allow the more than deserved equalizer. Jonas Printzen confidently converted the resulting penalty kick to make it 2-2 (67'). In the third minute of stoppage time, the crossbar was the obstacle once again: Robert Tchiri hit the visitors' goal frame from 18 meters with a free kick. 🎯

"The lads played good football again. That is the primary result of the game for us," Sukic summarized after the match.

After the autumn holidays, the team will play away against FC Plaidt II. 🌍
