Ahrweiler BC has secured another promising young player for its U23 team. Max Isgaem, who has made a name for himself this season with 13 goals in 15 games in the U19 Rheinlandliga, will be going on the hunt for goals for the club's Rheinlandliga reserve team starting next season.
The 18-year-old attacker, a true homegrown talent of Ahrweiler BC who already played for the club's Bambini team, quickly agreed to a transfer with the sporting director of the U23 team, Aldin Sukic. The league affiliation of the U23 team does not matter. Isgaem will play for them regardless of whether the team competes in the Bezirksliga or the Kreisliga A.
"I want to develop further in my familiar surroundings," Isgaem explained. "The club's concept and sporting realignment convinced me."
Aldin Sukic is also pleased about the signing of the young talent: "Keeping Max is an important cornerstone for our future. He has developed rapidly in the last two years and should continue to develop with us in peace. The U23 is just an intermediate step for him on the way to tasks at a higher level."
Ahrweiler BC is proud to once again welcome a player from its own ranks into the senior division.
