++U23 DES AHRWEILER BC: TOBIAS ROTH COMPLETES NEW COACHING TEAM – "A GUY WITH OPINION" TAKES OVER ON THE SIDELINES++

New face, clear ambitions: The Rhineland league reserve team of Ahrweiler BC announces they have finalized their coaching staff.

The restructuring is complete: In the upcoming season, Tobias Roth will share sporting responsibility for Ahrweiler BC's U23 team with head coach Ricardo Ribeiro. The commitment of the 44-year-old was considered the last missing piece in the realignment of the coaching team – a perfect candidate for sporting director Aldin Sukic: "Tobi is ambitious, a guy with opinions who also knows how to stand by them. I'm happy to have him on the team."

Roth, who was active as a player for VfL Meckenheim under Ribeiro until the very end, brings extensive tactical understanding and a wealth of experience. The A-license holder looks back on 36 Regionalliga and 110 Oberliga matches for FC Hennef, Germania Dattenfeld, Yurdumspor Köln, and Bonner SC – stints that are not by chance on his resume. In his youth, he played for FV Endenich and FC Blau-Weiß Friesdorf. Roth took his first steps as a coach as a playing assistant coach for the first team of FC Hennef.

For Roth, moving to the sidelines isn't a farewell from the game, but rather a change in perspective with a clear focus: "I want to contribute to the continuous improvement of the lads." With his involvement, the U23 team is intended to become a stable feeder for the first team again – both in terms of performance and character.

Privat, Roth resides in Cologne and works professionally as a television producer. He sees his new role at ABC as a natural continuation of his passion for football: from the field to the sidelines – yet still right in the middle of the action.

With Ricardo Ribeiro and Tobias Roth, Ahrweiler BC is relying on a well-coordinated duo with a clear philosophy. Both know each other, both appreciate each other—and both are eager to fully exploit the potential of the U23 team.

Welcome to ABC, Tobi. Good luck, strong nerves, and an injury-free season.
