The Ahrweiler BC is very happy: With Lukas Adeneuer, a player is making his comeback for the upcoming season, who will strengthen the team’s defense and also play an important role off the field.
The 27-year-old defender had already been active in the ABC's children's, youth and senior teams before taking a break after the U23 team's promotion last year. With his size and ability to play one-on-one, he usually made it very difficult for his opponents.
But Adeneuer is not only distinguished by his footballing qualities. He also takes on responsibility outside the pitch and is equally appreciated by teammates and fans. “Whether in good or bad times (and especially there),” the club said, “Lukas Adeneuer was always there to be relied on.” For Aldin Sukic, the sporting director of the U23 team, it is clear: With Lukas, we have a real leader in the team starting this summer. He will play an important role.”
For many long-time supporters, the return of the "funkturm" is a great joy. "Even now, without all the new signings having already been confirmed, Lukas is the big transfer," emphasizes the Ahrweiler BC.
The club is very happy that Adeneuer is back in the team: “Dear Lukas, how great is it for us that you are back! Just awesome!!”
