Our U17 team kicked off their season on Saturday, after the summer break, with an thrilling friendly match against the Rheinlandliga team SG 2000 Mülheim-Kärlich. The teams drew a spectacular 5-5 on the central pitch in Bad Neuenahr! 🎯🔥
The match was characterized from the start by fast and precise offensive play from the guests, but our boys also showed their class. However, the defenses of both teams still had room for improvement, which was evident from several scoring chances on both sides. Especially noteworthy: SG coach Markus Mannebach had to replace his goalkeeper with an outfield player in the first half. 🧤➡️🧑🎤
Our goals were scored by Elias Ensafi and David Lorca, who both scored twice, as well as our new signing Julien Kuhn, who marked his debut with a goal. 👏🎉
Both coaching teams certainly gained valuable insights from this test match – both positive and negative. We are excited to see how the teams continue to develop and look forward to an exciting season. 🙌
