Our U11 team gave their all at the Germania Autumn Tournament in Cologne-Mülheim and put on a clean performance. 🔥 Although they didn't quite manage to win the tournament in the end, you can be really proud of this performance. 💪 Under the leadership of Andre Wenigmann and Ralf Lauterbach, our team battled their way forward round by round and fought until the final minute of play.
After victories in the preliminary round against hosts FC Germania Mülheim and SV Gremberg Humboldt, as well as an exciting draw against VdS Nievenheim, the boys were ready for the quarterfinals. 🔥 Here they showed their strength with a 5:2 win against Pulheimer SC and followed up in the semifinals with a clear 4:1 victory against Deutz 05. 👏 The goal scorers Mehras Moradi (5), Marek Schunk (3), Liam Wenigmann (3), Christian Pütz (2), and Paul Schumann (1) really let loose. 🚀
In the final, we unfortunately had to admit defeat to TuS Quettingen with a score of 0:2. But: Keep your heads up, guys. That was a super performance that makes you want more! 💪🎯
Coach Andre Wenigmann: "We are very satisfied with the team's performance. The boys have developed superbly and we are definitely on the right track! Keep it up, this looks great." 🔥
A big thank you also to FC Germania Mülheim for the great organization and the invitation to this super tournament. It was a pleasure for us to be part of it. 🙌
