Despite the unpredictable weather on Friday, our U11 II and U10 junior teams showed strong performances and secured deserved victories.
U10 Triumphs in Top Match
The U10 junior team (photo), the youngest E-Juniors, proved worthy favorites in their away game against Grafschafter JSG, winning convincingly 1:4 (1:2). Even an early deficit couldn't throw the boys of head coach Darijo Matosevic off course. Two goals from David Matosevic and additional goals from Mehras Moradi and Moritz Winnen secured their eighth win in their eighth game, thus clinching the championship with games to spare. Congratulations to the team and staff! 🎉👏
U11 II reaches podium spot
In the same league, but a different team: The U11 II secured a 7:2 (2:1) victory against JSG Remagen II. With this win, they displaced their direct competitor from 3rd place in the standings and took that spot on the podium themselves. Coach Andre Wenigmann's team also had to play from behind after conceding a 1:0 deficit, but took control of the game in the second half. Eni Misini scored three goals in four minutes, bringing the score to 6:2 – the decisive moment on the artificial turf in Remagen. Winter signing Christian Pütz celebrated a successful goal debut. Other goals were scored by Liam Wenigmann (2) and Paul Jünger.
Congratulations on these achievements!
