Our U14 team played a great game last weekend at the traditional Christmas Indoor Cup 2024 in Neuwied and secured the tournament victory! 💪🎉
Despite the absence of coaching duo Senas Sukic and Vahidin "Caki" Cahtarevic, the team, under the sporting leadership of interim coach Aldin Sukic, showed an impressive performance and won the final against JSG Altenkirchen. The exciting final match was decided in a nerve-wracking penalty shootout – captain Jonas Printzen scored the decisive shot and secured the trophy. 🏅🙌
Highlights of the tournament
Strong start in the group stage: Victories against JFV Rhein-Hunsrück (1-0) and JSG Augst (1-0) paved the way to the quarter-finals.
⚽ Convincing quarter-final victory: 3-1 against JSG Kreuzberg-Marienhausen, with a brace from Leon Bertram and a goal from Endri Gashi.
Nerves of Steel: Two thrilling penalty shootouts in the semi-finals and finals – our team showed mental strength and prevailed.

Our U15 team was also there and gained valuable experience, despite being eliminated in the preliminary round.
