Last weekend, Ahrweiler BC hosted the first match day for the U8 junior team (born 2017) in glorious sunshine ☀️ at their home ground in Bad Neuenahr. A fantastic start for our young future kickers! 🔥
Under the leadership of our new coaching team – consisting of Abdel Nassir, Christoph Quandt, Mohamed Abou-Ayda, and Frank Stephani – the ABC fielded three teams. A total of nine teams were on the field, showcasing their skills. 💪⚽️ Despite the heat, the children remained motivated and gave their all on the four Funino fields! In the end, they were exhausted but happy – which is exactly what counts! 😄💦
Fair play was the focus, because in fair play mode, results don't matter. The fun of the game and team spirit were the most important things! 🙌🎉
A big thank you goes to the numerous player mothers of Ahrweiler BC, who provided the catering and thus made the event a complete success. 👏🍰
Youth leader Gerd Treffer was extremely satisfied with the event and praised the outstanding performances of the children, coaches, and supervisors. A great team effort that shows how important cohesion is in the club. ❤️🤍
