++🚨⚽️ CORDIAL CUP: AHRWEILER BC U11 WITH TOP EXPERIENCE AT QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT IN HERXHEIM ⚽️🚨++

Our U11 team really stepped on the gas last weekend! 🔥 Under the guidance of Andre Wenigmann, Ralf Lauterbach, and Darijo Matosevic, they competed in the qualification tournament for the Cordial Cup – one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in Europe, held for over 25 years. 🏆 The goal was to make it to Tirol for the finals, and our kids showed what they're made of!

With plenty of team spirit and anticipation, the boys traveled to Karlsruhe the day before, where they stayed overnight at the youth hostel. Of course, a joint afternoon at the bowling arena was a must – the perfect start to get in the mood for the upcoming tournament. 🎳🎯

The tournament began on Saturday, and our U11 team immediately faced the strong SG Sonnenhof Großaspach. After going down 0-2, we had to admit defeat – but no reason to hang our heads. 💪 In the following games, our team picked up the pace: A thrilling 2-1 victory against Spvgg 1958 Trier and a win against TSV Loffenau propelled us into the quarterfinals. 🚀

Unfortunately, things didn't go according to plan against SV Fellbach. We had to accept a 0-5 defeat – but hey, that's part of the game. 💥 In the placement round for ranks 5-8, our boys fought hard again, but had to accept further losses against SV 07 Kriftel and Spvgg 1958 Trier I.

Nevertheless: Marek Schunk (3), David Matosevic (2) and Mehras Moradi (1) provided great highlights and fighting spirit until the end with their goals. ⚽🔥

Coach's conclusion: "Even though in the end it was 'only' 8th place out of 17 participants, we are incredibly proud of our boys. The weekend was a great experience for everyone, the kids learned a lot, and they grew even closer as a team. Experiences like these make us stronger – we emerge even stronger from defeats." 💪❤️🤍

The next adventure is coming – and we're ready. 🚀🙌
