A project team consisting of Max Blohm, Fabian Lorca, and Nikolas Schweigert \u2013 all former and active football players \u2013 is currently working on this topic to create corresponding structures and establish an e-sports department at ABC. \"We don't want to ignore this growing and increasingly professional market, and we hope to achieve an 'early bird effect' at least on a local level, as well as increase our media reach beyond the district and Bad Neuenahr Ahrweiler, primarily to attract a new and young target group,\" says board member Michael Lorca, who spearheaded the project beforehand. \"Especially during Corona times, we can thus also offer our many junior players an opportunity to remain active at ABC,\" Lorca continued.<\/p>\n
Tournaments at both internal and external levels will soon be offered, and an ABC league will be founded where only club members will be allowed at the controllers.
