For our young footballers from Ahrweiler BC, born in 2015 and 2016, the past season was all about Funino, the new game format integrated into children's football at the start of the season. Smaller teams, smaller fields, and four goals each presented a challenge for both the seven coaches and their prot\u00e9g\u00e9s at the beginning of the season. There was great skepticism, but everyone quickly found their way and now, after a full Funino season, they are drawing a positive conclusion.<\/p>\n
\"Funino thrilled us, even though we always had to juggle to accommodate all the kids in the small squads of six players. Otherwise, it was top-notch. Lots of ball possession, the kids constantly had to find creative solutions, and overall the games were less static and more flexible,\" says Sarah Preu\u00dfner, who, along with Dennis Preu\u00dfner, Jeffrey Yankey, Victoria Einert, and Christian Wolf, coached and supervised the older age group. Geritt Kanowski, Justus Balmer, and Finn Krebsbach assisted with the younger F-Juniors as instructors.<\/p>\n
Despite many successes on match days in tournament format, Preu\u00dfner and Co. are now also looking forward to the challenges in the E-juniors. There, according to current plans, the 2015 birth year will field three teams.\ud83c\udf89\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, we are overwhelmed with inquiries regarding new admissions for these two age groups. Currently, we cannot accommodate this, at least until the on-site infrastructure is fully restored.
