The U11 of Ahrweiler BC is ready to go for the new 2024\/2025 season! \ud83c\udfc6 The team is still enjoying their summer break, but the adventure will soon begin, and the anticipation is huge. \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n
After an outstanding last season, in which the U11 team won both the district championship on the field and in the hall, the bar has been set high. The coaching team around Andre Wenigmann, Ralf Lauterbach, and Darijo Matosevic knows that repeating this success will not be easy, but their optimism and motivation remain unbroken. \ud83d\udcaa<\/p>\n
\ud83e\udde0 Training and Development \ud83e\udde0: The 16-player squad is ready to give their all. Intensive training sessions are scheduled twice a week. Additionally, there is a third, voluntary training day that focuses exclusively on technical aspects. \u26bd\ufe0f<\/p>\n
Compared to last season, the squad has changed slightly: a total of 15 players are starting the new season, including five talented players from last year's U11 junior squad and one new external signing. The coaches are convinced that with this team, they have a strong and developing cohort in their ranks. \ud83c\udf31<\/p>\n
\ud83c\udfaf Goals and Outlook \ud83c\udfaf: The coaching team has clear goals: \"To let the team grow together and play performance-oriented children's football with fun and joy in training and competition,\" is the motto. Whether the new U11 players can fill the big shoes of their predecessors remains exciting. However, what is certain is that the youth department of Ahrweiler BC has a promising age group ahead of them with this team. \ud83d\udd1d<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udcc5 Season opener \ud83d\udcc5: The season begins on August 30th with a home game against JSG Nickenich. Interestingly, this was also the last match of the past E-Juniors season in the Rhein\/Ahr football district \u2013 the final for the district championship, which our ABC juniors were able to win. It will be exciting to see how the new U11 faces this challenge! \ud83d\ude80<\/p>\n
