The C III juniors of Ahrweiler BC have finished the spring season of the Kreisklasse in a strong third place \u2013 and this with a team that consists primarily of younger players. An impressive performance that the coaching trio Goran Strk and Alexander and Yvonne Blauhut can be very satisfied with.<\/p>\n
Even in the last two games, the boys showed what they're made of: Although they lost 2:3 to the second-placed team SGL Heimersheim on the penultimate matchday after an exciting game, the performance was good \u2013 and the coaches' conclusion was positive despite the loss: \"The boys played on an equal footing. In the end, only that proverbial tiny bit of luck was missing.\"<\/p>\n
In their final appearance of the season, the young footballers left nothing to chance. Away against JSG Hohe Eifel Herresbach, they really picked up the pace after a 1-1 halftime score and secured the deserved three points with a 4-3 victory. With a total of 18 points from 10 games, the C III juniors finish the season in a strong third place.<\/p>\n
