The years-long successful partnership between shapefruit AG (https://www.shapefruit.de/) and Ahrweiler BC has now been extended. The advertising agency from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler equipped the ABC with a reporting app (https://www.shapefruit.de/gaeste-melde-app-corona/) developed in cooperation with various sports clubs for recording contact details at sports events. This GDPR-compliant app, which collects data via QR code, simplifies data collection and storage for organizers, thereby enormously reducing workflows, e.g., during home games.
Nationwide, about 50 clubs from district to Oberliga and beyond have followed Ahrweiler BC so far and have used the app in numerous test matches. All users, without exception, drew a positive conclusion. "In two test runs during our U23 home games, the simple application has worked smoothly so far and has greatly relieved us," said Gerd Treffer (Board Member and Youth Director, Ahrweiler BC).
"Our app quickly gives spectators of sporting events the opportunity to easily and contactlessly record their contact details, thereby contributing to the preservation of their own health as well as that of their personal environment," commented Martin Schell (Head of Human Resources/Finance/Administration at shapefruit AG).
The use of the app, which also offers an optimal solution for contact data recording for restaurateurs and organizers of all kinds, costs €180.00 per year.
